Paintmaster Collision is a locally-owned family business with multiple locations.

Our locally-owned shop is looking for an Auto Body Technician to join our auto body repair team. In this position, you will repair collisions, weather, and other damage done to the body of vehicles. Most of your duties will revolve around body repair, but our ideal candidate has some experience working with all the systems in a car. An associate degree in automotive technology is preferred, but we are willing to work with technicians with a vocational certificate and several years of experience. Confidence in your own manual dexterity and physical stamina are recommended for this job.

Auto Body Technician Duties and Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles for damage
• Repair body to factory or customer specifications
• Remove and replace damaged parts with power and hand tools
• Fill cracks and depressions
• Perform cosmetic repairs

Auto Body Technician Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED certificate
• Welding, auto repair experience
• Certificate or associate degree in automotive technology (preferred)
• ASE certificate (preferred)
• I-CAR certification (preferred)

Paintmaster Collision is a locally-owned family business with multiple locations.

Our locally-owned shop is looking for an estimator to join our auto body repair team. In this position, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently assessing damage to vehicles, issuing a cost estimate to the client, and evaluating the subsequent repairs performed by the repair team. Our ideal candidate will also act as a liaison between the client, insurance agencies, and the production shop to provide quality service while creating an atmosphere of effective communication and teamwork. We are searching for candidates with at least three years experience in estimating repairs, and experience with CCC One, while not necessary, is appreciated. Experience with vehicular systems and confidence in your own judgement are recommended for this job.

Auto Body Estimator Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates following DRP guidelines
• Communicate with customers, employees, and insurance companies clearly and effectively
• Ensure customers vehicles are repaired properly and in a timely manner
• Establish good working relationships with insurance companies in the local market area
• Develop a working relationship with the shop production manager
• Develop processes to ensure coordination of repairs are smooth
• Participate in developing a proper repair plan for each vehicle
• Order parts and assist in parts check-in process to ensure accuracy (experience with Parts Trader is a plus)
• Work with operating officer to achieve existing business goals and develop ongoing goals

Auto Body Estimator Requirements and Qualifications

• I-CAR and ASE certification preferred
• Leadership and management skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Thorough understanding of the collision-repair business
• Clean driving record with valid driver’s license
• Must be punctual, reliable, and dedicated
