Customer Obligations
To obtain the benefits of this warranty the owner of the vehicle must do the following:
- Present the owner’s copy of this warranty document to the warrantor before requesting warranted repairs or parts.
- Have any warranted repairs, adjustments, or work performed at the premises of the warrantor during normal business hours.
Note: this written warranty shall be null and void if the repair is altered, adjusted, or tampered with by any person not authorized by Paintmaster Collision Center. - All warranty issues must be brought to the attention of the Paintmaster Collision Center in a timely manner. If your failure to notify us in a timely manner results in excessive damage and/or repair conditions, the additional cost may not be covered.
Damage caused by another accident, impact, negligence, abuse, misuse, exposure to the elements, or paint chipped by driving conditions shall not be covered under the scope of this warranty. All sublet repairs will be warranted through the sublet vendor. Paintmaster Collision Center will assist you with any claim for such sublet work performed in relation to the repair order associated with this warranty.
Metalwork: Paintmaster Collision Center provides a lifetime warranty against defective workmanship to welding and the application of materials utilized in making collision repairs against cracking, flaking, pitting, or deterioration. Paintmaster Collision Center will, at its sole option, repair and re-paint any metalwork warranted hereby. Rust resulting from exposed metal will not be covered. Example: a deep scratch, impact, etc.
Painting, Stripes and Decals: Paintmaster Collision Center warranties on paint-related priming and paint work against solvent blistering, peeling, hazing and excessive loss of pigment. Paintmaster Collision Center will, at its sole option, re-prime, re-paint, re-stripe, or re-decal the specific section or sections of the vehicle warranted hereby. The paint warranty is only valid when applied over the original factory finishes that are free of defects. Stone chipping and/or a sandblasting effect caused by road conditions are not covered.
Mechanical: Paintmaster Collision Center provides a warranty that all mechanical repairs listed on the final paperwork were performed to return the vehicle to the same or better than the pre-loss condition. Paintmaster Collision Center will re-repair any mechanical assembly or component warranted hereby, at its sole option, when a claim is made unless caused by or damage resulting from unreasonable use, wear items, maintenance, or care of the vehicle.
Parts: Paintmaster Collision Center provides a warranty equal to the part manufacturer’s warranty (Paintmaster Collision Center warranty does not exceed the manufacturer’s warranty). Paintmaster Collision Center will repair or replace any defective part warranted hereby, at its sole option. We will assist you in handling any claim under the supplier’s guarantee. All aftermarket parts (parts not made by the original manufacturer) will be warranted for fit, finish, safety, and corrosion resistance by the supplier and/or the insurer that mandated them, not Paintmaster Collision Center.
Paintmaster Collision Center shall not be responsible for loss of use, loss of time, inconvenience, towing, rental, lodging or loss of business, or any other incidental or consequential damages.
Paintmaster Collision Center will not cover any repairs performed by any outside vendor.
This warranty certificate is non-transferable.
